Brindha has a
wealth of global expertise and intellectual capabilities obtained from over
15 years experience in the investment and finance industry. These enable her
to customise solutions to meet your requirements.
In previous
roles as the Global Head of Research at AMP Private Capital and the
Australasian Head of Research at PricewaterhouseCoopers Financial Advisory
Services, she managed research teams in the private equity and investment
banking sectors. She spent a number of years conducting research into the
Alternative Assets sector, and gained significant experience as an economic
consultant, econometric researcher and investment banking analyst, both in
Australia and in the UK.
Brindha is the
Immediate Past President of the CFA Society of Sydney. As a Director of the Society since
2003, her previous roles included President, Vice-President, Member Education Chair and
Candidate Education Director. She also held a previous Board position at
Northside Community Forum, a peak body for carer respite services.
Brindha is a
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, and is committed to
providing you with the benefits of the latest analytical tools and
techniques. She holds a Master of Arts Degree and a Bachelor of Arts Honours
Degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge, together with a Master
of Science Degree in Economics (focusing on the Asia Pacific Region) from
the University of London. In addition, she holds a Doctorate in Banking and
Finance (specialising in econometrics) from the University of New South
Wales and University of Sydney.
She uses her
expertise in quantitative modelling; financial engineering; company and
industry research; economic analysis; and valuation work to facilitate
investment decisions. Consulting projects she has conducted have involved
growth strategies, mergers, acquisitions, project finance deals, business
recovery projects and property deals. She has devised global knowledge
management strategies, and designed customised databases and research tools.
Brindha also provides training in research skills. She is a speaker on the
CFA Institute Global Speaker Retainer Program.
FitzBiz was
founded by Brindha, in 2003, because she is keen to use her skills and
experience to assist clients in the investment and financial industry to
improve their performance. Her love of economics and finance began when she
was studying at Fitzwilliam College (often called Fitz), University
